Review: Winter's Passage

Title: Winter's Passage
Series:  Iron Fey Novella
Genre: Young Adult- Paranormal
Author: Juile Kagawa
Publisher: Harlequin Teen
Release Date: June 1, 2010
Book: Free off of author's website

This novella goes to The Iron King. If you have not read that book. I suggest you do before you read this one.

"Meghan Chase used to be an ordinary girl...until she discovered that she is really a faery princess. After escaping from the clutches of the deadly Iron fey, Meghan must follow through on her promise to return to the equally dangerous Winter Court with her forbidden love, Prince Ash. But first, Meghan has one request: that they visit Puck--Meghan's best friend and servant of her father, King Oberon--who was gravely injured defending Meghan from the Iron Fey.

Yet Meghan and Ash's detour does not go unnoticed. They have caught the attention of an ancient, powerful hunter--a foe that even Ash may not be able to defeat."

This novella was awesome. It was a great addition to the Iron Fey series. Meghan and Ash are on their way to the winter court. During the travel there, things heat up between Ash and Meghan. They stumble upon some trouble on their way there. The Hunter is tracking there every move. No matter where they go the Hunter always seems to find them. They get some help from some old friends along the way.

The Hunter is a wolf sent by King Oberon, Meghan's father. He think she has been kidnapped and has sent someone to get her. Meghan put her life on the line for Ash, saying that she made a deal with Ash and is no prisoner. The wolf back away for now, leaving with a threat.

They make it to the winter court only to receive even more welcoming from Queen Mab.
This was a great, easy, fast read. You must read the first in the series to understand this novella. Go pick it up when you can!

I give it 5 BITES!

Happy Reading!
