"Before scientists found the cure, people thought love was a good thing. They didn’t understand that once love -the deliria- blooms in your blood, there is no escaping its hold. Things are different now. Scientists are able to eradicate love, and the governments demands that all citizens receive the cure upon turning eighteen. Lena Holoway has always looked forward to the day when she’ll be cured. A life without love is a life without pain: safe, measured, predictable, and happy.

But with ninety-five days left until her treatment, Lena does the unthinkable: She falls in love."

What would it be like to live in a world without love? Everyone walked around like robots, doing what society told them. I don't know about you, but I would not want to live this way.

From the start Lena wanted to be cured. She did not want to be like her mother, diseased and gone. She wanted to be safe and secure. During the waiting period before her procedure, she meets a boy who is about to shake her world. Lena not only realizes what her mom meant, but now know what loves feels like. Will she still get the procedure?

Ms. Oliver definitely delivered a great book. Immediately, this book captured me drawing on into this loveless world. But it also showed me how love comes to be when you least expect it. Lena wasn't expecting to fall in love, she just did. In doing so, she learn what loves is. And even know she knows in the end that love can hurt, be painful and even kill you, she didn't care.

Love is the key word. And the boy she meets, Alex, is a perfect match for her. He definitely showed her what love really is. Sacrifice. Sacrifice for the one you love no matter what.

I give it 5 BITES!

Happy Reading!
