Just Release It Already (28)

Invincible (The Chronicles of Nick # 2) by Sherrilyn Kenyon
Release Date: March 22, 2011

"Just when he thought things couldn’t get any worse...

Nick Gautier’s day just keeps getting better and better. Yeah, he survived the zombie attacks, only to wake up and find himself enslaved to a world of shapeshifters and demons out to claim his soul.

His new principal thinks he’s even more of a hoodlum than the last one, his coach is trying to recruit him to things he can’t even mention and the girl he’s not seeing, but is, has secrets that terrify him.

But more than that, he’s being groomed by the darkest of powers and if he doesn’t learn how to raise the dead by the end of the week, he will become one of them...
The first book rock my socks off and I am super excited to read this one. I loved Nick! I loved his wittiness, love, and strength definitely caught my eye and had me at hello! The plot was unique and something I could read over and over again. I am really looking forward to reading Nick's next adventure. Demon, shapeshifters, crazy friends who do dumb things. More Nick? Yes, please!!

So seriously?...Just Release It Already!

Happy Reading!

  1. I haven't read the first book (it's on my list!), but both look incredible. Maybe one of these days I'll actually get around to them.

  9. I love Sherrilyn Kenyon, but for some reason I can't bring myself to read this. I absolutely LOVE Nick, but I guess I want the story of the adult Nick. How he came to be what he is, and what he is doing to do with it. Is that Kenyon's goal with this series, or is she just going to keep it about the young version of Nick? I keep waitig for the next Dark Hunter novel to be about him!
