"Riley Blackthorne just needs a chance to prove herself – and that’s exactly what the demons are counting on…

Seventeen-year-old Riley, the only daughter of legendary Demon Trapper, Paul Blackthorne, has always dreamed of following in her father's footsteps.  The good news is, with human society seriously disrupted by economic upheaval and Lucifer increasing the number of demons in all major cities, Atlanta’s local Trappers’ Guild needs all the help they can get – even from a girl. When she’s not keeping up with her homework or trying to manage her growing crush on fellow apprentice, Simon, Riley’s out saving distressed citizens from foul-mouthed little devils – Grade One Hellspawn only, of course, per the strict rules of the Guild. Life’s about as normal as can be for the average demon-trapping teen.

But then a Grade Five Geo-Fiend crashes Riley’s routine assignment at a library, jeopardizing her life and her chosen livelihood.  And, as if that wasn’t bad enough, sudden tragedy strikes the Trappers’ Guild, spinning Riley down a more dangerous path than she ever could have imagined. As her whole world crashes down around her, who can Riley trust with her heart – and her life?"

OMG! This book was just DA BOMB!!!! I love reading every moment of it. So much action, emotions, and just everything in was just aghhhhhhhh! SWEET! Riley is the only girl licensed as a demon trapper. Because of this expectations are held high for her and one slipped could forever ruin her. After a trapping goes wrong, Riley is faced with some bad mojo coming her way.

Riley, I love her. I admit I cried during this book. Riley is so strong. I could never had held up the way she did. This chick got guts. What I like most about this book was the strong emotions flowing through it. You felt everything that Riley was feeling because Ms. Oliver brought her characters to life. Her characters were not raw but developed. You get to see Riley grow up right before your eyes. You saw her triumph over many life changing things only making her stronger.

The plot was not only unique but well written. I loved how she wrote the whole thing. Nothing was too soon or thrown out at you. The story progressed more only of course you wanting more.

Now, the love interests. Holy crow. This chick manage not only to get one but two major love interest in just a mere amount of chapters. And I can tell you that I am most interested in them. Riley is not the type of girl to put herself out there. These guys are drawn to her because of the strength that she wields. I am really looking forward to the next book to see how it all pans out.

I give it 5 BITES!

Happy Reading!
