'The first adult novel from a bestselling author of young adult fiction. Michael picks up a young hitch-hiker in the Arizona desert, bringing her home and letting her sleep on his couch. The next day, she talks about being God--and strange things begin to happen to everyone coming in contact with her."

What if God were one of us? It has happened before. If you read the bible, then you know. And no, I am not talking about Jesus. Anywho, I really liked this book. I adored Sati. She was a bit strange but she did what she came to do.

I admit that some things that she did where not all god like. There were some parts that had me raising my eyebrows. I really enjoyed the plot though. Sati came into other peoples life's and completely changed them. They has no idea what she did to them until she was gone.

The characters were all unique. The each had their own problems and had Sati helped them. Some lost their life's while others gained a new perspective.

Overall, this book is good, fast read but nothing that I read again. There was some cursing.

I give it 3 BITES!

Happy Reading!

  2. Is it the Season of Passage, The Listeners and The Cold ones, not Christopher Pike's Adult novels? I remember reading them when I was a late teen.

  3. @Susan, yeah Sati is one of his adult novels. Though any older teen would enjoy it.
