Blog Tour: Cloud Prophet

Hello fellow readers and welcome to the Severed Blog Tour!

Book Three: Cloud Prophet Trilogy
"Reychel knows her gift of prophecy will lead to madness and now she is at her most vulnerable. The enemy army will attempt to sever her from everything she's ever known: her homeland, her friends, Mark, and her gift. Even at her weakest, she refuses to give up on her desire to end the war between the Malborn and the Serenians. Reychel would do anything, even come back from the dead, to conquer the enemy and reunite with Mark."

Upcoming Attractions

Even though this blog tour has been a big celebration of Severed’s release and the conclusion of the Cloud Prophet Trilogy, it’s hardly the end of my work. I’m one of those people who isn’t satisfied with the outcome of a project. In fact, I rarely focus on the end. I focus on the future.

At the end of December or the beginning of January, I’ll be releasing a short story titled The Initiate. This short story builds a bridge between the Cloud Prophet Trilogy (Anathema, Oubliette, and Severed) and The Swarm Trilogy (Sleepers, and two upcoming novels). The Initiate takes place 1,000 years before the other two trilogies.

What readers may not have realized, but some have and expressed it to me through email and Twitter, is that the two trilogies are connected. In fact, they’re contemporaries. In later parts of The Swarm, readers will see some of their favorite characters from Cloud Prophet Trilogy cross over. I plan to have the final two novels in The Swarm Trilogy release in 2012. I already have a title for the second book and am currently narrowing down cover images.

I even have another trilogy planned when The Swarm is done. It will be the conclusion of the stories I’ve been telling in these novels. That’s not all, though. I’m also working on a middle grade fantasy that I’d love to have out spring of 2012, or sooner if possible.

In case you’re wondering, I rarely sleep. My mind never stops visiting the places I imagine. I’m so lucky that I’m able to express myself with the written word. I’m even luckier there are people out there who want to read what I have to say. To each and every one of you who has followed my books through this tour, thank you. You may never know how much it means to me.

Thanks so much for being here today Ms. Jensen!
