"Jean Ryan has inherited a singular gift, the gift of magic. She must quickly learn to use her magic gift before the opposing dark magic forces destroy her world. Jean and Wayne, her friend, work together to discover why her gift has attracted the attention of an evil circle of magic users and how to combat them.

As she learns to use her magic, Jean finds revenge bites backwards, friends are not always what they seem, and that magic is not a toy. In the end she has to stand alone against an evil worse than any she has ever imagined."

This is a quick read that will satisfy a reader who wants something fast paced laced with the right amount of paranormal.

What I loved most about this book is being able to feel the emotions from the character. Once I fell into Jean shoes and felt her fury of unable to see her dying grandmother, how people just pushed her aside, amazed me. Jean's emotions flow flawlessly in the book. It's easy to relate to her and know what she is going through.

The plot of the book I really loved. Jean, how has always been pushed aside now has power. I love what Jean does once she gets power. She wants to get back at others. And why not? They treated her like crap. They deserve it. Jean faces many hard decisions with the power that now lays in her hands. The struggle that she goes through makes her stronger in who she is.

There wasn't a particular love interest but more of an admiration going on. I hope that I can read more about these two. I like to see what else can form between them.

A Singular Gift is a fast read that you will like. Powers and dark present that is increasingly gaining power, A Singular Gift is great!

I give 4 BITES!

Happy Reading!
