After leaving me an emotional wreck in the first book, I was highly anticipating for this book to leave me the same way. Although it wasn't at the same extent as the first book, I was still left sitting in silence, shock spread across my face as I turned the last page to finish the book.
The plot line and the action are what grabbed me once again in this series. I was most of the time on my toes wondering what was going to happen next, and would June and Day survive. Goosebumps were constantly appearing on my arm. This book captured my soul from the very first page and had me hooked till the ending.
I was able to fall in love with the characters once again as Day and June made their escape from their likely death. I am so happy for them that they are meant for each other. However, when being reconnected with Day’s best friend, will his friendship that they have become more than being just friends.
I give it 5 bites!
