Last fall, Jake gave Brielle his guardian’s halo. With it, her 

eyes were opened to the Celestia l, a realm seen only by angels 

and their kind.

* Jake, the boy next door with healing hands and a crooked smile. His eyes are
both dark and bright and he always smells like coffee laced with sugar.
* Ballet
* Photography
* Les Miserables. If she could sing she’d audition, but she can’t, so she stares at
the poster on her wall and dreams.
* Her dad’s chocolate chip pancakes

Dislikes

* Fear. It’s everywhere and with her celestial eyes she can’t NOT see it.
* Flying. But she’s getting used to it.
* The demon Damien. Well, really, all demons, but after defeating Damien last
December, she can only hope his hellfire punishment will extend past her
lifetime.
