 After reading In The Arms of Stone Angel I fell in love with Ms. Dane's writing. Not only did she tell a great story, but gave me a wonderful reading adventure. Death. It's something everyone will come to pass sooner or later. I really like how the plot of the story gave a different aspect to death. Most of the time in books he is always gloomy and well...death. On A Dark Wing, Ms. Dane unfolds of  a story of Death never told. One that surpasses anything beyond normal.

What I liked most about this story is the great plot line. I loved it when a new story, out of the box creation is told. Death is not some other thing but a person with feelings. I admit that anything to do with the afterlife always fascinates me. I like how well the story unfolded before the readers eyes capturing the reader from the very beginning. There are several plot twist that kept me on the tip of my toes. I adore the chance at pursuing the character of Death and getting to know his story.

There is not really a love interest but more of an obsession. This is something totally different and new to me. I loved reading and watching the characters grow with more knowledge of what exactly brought them together. I love that Ms. Dane created a great back round history to both characters, making the story much more fulfilling.

 If you want a great dark story with something more than just death, read this book. Ms. Dane present the reader with a story that is beautifully written. The ending of the story was beautifully weaved, leaving the reader satisfied. With a great dramatic plot, On A Dark Wing is an fantastic read!

Just when I thought this series can't get any better it did! I loved this book. I really enjoyed the adventure in fighting for the one that you love till death.

Nothing motivate someone more than saving the life of the one that you love. I really like that the main characters go deeper than ever before not only psychically but emotional as well. The strength that her loved one gave her is enduring. As the reader steps in another action packed plot line Harmonia (Macy) set out on a adventure to restore what she lost.

The best part of these book is the well written, descriptive writing Ms. Cole gives her readers. There is nothing like a great book with such great writing that is does none other than pull you into another place, an other time. The plot line is filled with many different emotions, twist that all you can do is hold your breath and scream!

Again, the love interest. I LOVE a good love story. These two characters fight so hard to find each other. The reader can tell right away that this is no ordinary love. The love that flows beyond the pages of this great book is strong and beautiful. This book is my favorite because of what is fought for within the book. It's not about restoring kingdom, taking your rightful place, but about love. And those my friends are the best stories yet.

I love this series whole-heartily! This is one that I can picked up be swept through time and space, never getting old. If you want a great book of adventure, fighting, and a strong passionate love, read this book. This book is great for those who love a good historical fiction. Pick up this book, it will give a love to die for!

This book picks up right where it left off. It doesn't confused the reader, but sets out on a whole new adventure. Once again, the reader fall immediately into the plot that Ms. Cole created. With great vivid detailing, the reader enters the world where Macy is fighting to once again save her loves one life.

What I enjoyed most about this book is the great writing. I can always pick up this authors book and now that I will be transported through time to another world. I have no problem picking up the book, falling into the story. Even if you haven't read the first book, you can pick up this book with out any confusement. Ms. Cole writes an intriguing plot line that is always action packed.

I really love a good love story. I love that Macy loves with your soul mate is never ending and always strong. I like that their love isn't one that is created instantly but something that has grown over all those years. Their loyalty to each other and the way they comfort each other, always makes my heart soar.

I tip my hat to you Ms. Cole. You have once again created such amazing story that I totally fell in love with! If you want a great love story that goes beyond ages, read this book!

This is a short story of the beginning of Gwen Frost. I loved this book cause it gave a better insight on Gwen and her gift. The reader meets Gwen as we first see her powers come into play. I really adored that the setting is in the past so the reader for the first first time gets to see Gwen's mom.

I feel the story gives a great back round history to Gwen and her life. I loved that while it was filled with he discovery of her power, it also foreshadowed the dark future that Gwen will be facing.

If you have not picked up this series you should. This is a great short story that sets the tone for a great series that I know everyone will enjoy!

This book is the bomb diggity. Like WOW! This book leaves me speechless and so excited for the start of an amazing new series! I don't want to say too much, I might spoil it.

Why is this book so good? Well  let by start off by saying that at the beginning I was a bit skeptical. While I love greek mythology, I am sort of getting tired of it. The way Ms. Ashton thought of the box and created a fresh world of darkness left me speech less. I love that she took something overdone and made it brand new. After the first chapter I was hooked.  The plot of this book is wonderful! Simple ecstatic! I loved the idea of a Underworld, Daughters of  Persephone, and a deep prophecy that is waiting to be fulfilled. Ms. Ashton grabbed her readers pulling them on ride that we will never forget.

The love interest in this book is so good, I can not put it in words. There is no love triangle but a strained love. I loved that their love is deeper than I have ever seen before. This love is the type of love that is strong and unbreakable. I loved reading the book and feeling the pull of deep emotions on my heart. Ms. Ashton way of writing just the right words to get you hooked and pulled into the story is amazing.

Everneath is breathless. A book that no words can measure. Pulling her readers in the deep abyss of the underworld, Ms. Ashton leaves her readers blissful. Ms. Ashton is a skillful writer leading her readers into a great reading adventure. Hauntingly beautiful, Everneath is start of a very promising series!

I like these types of books. A good book of keeping your friends close and your enemies closer. What can I say that made me love this book? The plot. I love me a good book with a great plot. The plot in this book really took off from page one. A trouble teen getting shipped off to a new school? A teen with a mom who identity we must keep secret? And the frenemy we love to hate but we can't get enough of.

I loved the flow of the book. The feeling that the reader gets when immersed of a world of money than what our main character Chanti is used too. Chanti grew up on the lower side of town and it is good to see Chanti point of view. I like that Chanti had to team up with her frenemy to clear her name. I snickered with the sarcastic comments and risking things.

The plot line of the book is simply yet it works. Prejudice against the new girl, thinking she is the one stealing things. I loved the tension in the book between the characters. And the love interest, woohoo! Marco is an amazing guy. I loved how he flirted with Chanti and even helped her. He put himself out there to prove himself to her and he didn't do such a bad job.

This is great book of mystery, change and cat fights. Mean girls galore! But it made the book much more fun to read. This is a great series with loads of potential for some major drama I am craving.

Talk about some life changing music! I really loved this book. I think the plot line of this book really grips the reader. I am always amazed at the writer's out of the box imagination to create such a great and wonderful story!

Ok, first the plot line of this book is nothing like I've read before. I enjoyed being pulled in all kinds of directions but also diving into a book with a unique storyline. I love the thought of music becoming static. If what you hearing is not all that your hearing, but subliminal messages hidden within the music. The plot line never fell short. It caught the reader quickly from page one, never letting the reader go.

I loved how well Ms. Stokes brings the reader to a place in the book to connect with the characters. Ms. Stokes created likeable characters that anyone can connect to. You feel the characters angry and grief over what is taken from them unexpectedly. I enjoyed their harbored angry along with the plot to get back at them. It's like a lion hunting its prey. The characters completely engrossed to reader, that you are no longer yourself, but Trevor and Salem fighting for their lives.

The slight touch of love in this book gave a right combination of peace to it. The love that grew before the reader eyes set the tone for the book. That there is hope when you think you have nothing left. Ms. Stokes set the opportunity for love when there is fighting everywhere else. I really liked that it wasn't a insta-love but once that grew through survival.

Static, is a dark and thrilling book that I can read again. Filled with a revengeful plot and music that is not all what it is, Static is awesome! If you love a good paranormal book with a fresh twist read this book!

How can I show my love for this book? By GUSHING about it! I really adore this book and the talented writer who wrote this book. I love stories of heartache, change and of course becoming someone new. I love the premise of this book. I can tell you I am hooked!

So what do you do to get over a guy? Us gals know that a heart ache is not easy getting over. I had a few heart aches in my time and does it get easier? No. But you do learn and grow from it. Enter Sadie. A hopeless romantic in love with her best friend and who just so happens loves some one else. Ouch! Talk about a hard blow to you heart. One thing I admired about Sadie is her willingness to move on. It is hard to separate yourself after doing everything with that person. I really like how the feel of the book brought the reader so close to the character it was as if you were Sadie. You rooted her on to get over Garrett and move on.

I love the plot lint of this book. The plot not only grabs the reader from the beginning, but it entices the reader to cheer on Sadie. To help guide her and be there for her when Garrett comes by. Even I found myself excited during the moments Sadie need help. Sadie has amazing friends that did all for her that they could. They told her stuff when she needed to hear it even it was hard to hear. 

The main thing I loved is Sadie herself. After all the searching that she has done, she has finally found herself. She is not who Garrett says she is, she is Sadie. The girl who loves romance books, goes to hockey games, and love to spend time with her friends.

Need help getting over a guy? Or maybe a heart ache that needs some healing? Read this book. It is an amazing journey  from start to finish. You will live, laugh and love!

I have been following this series since the beginning. I remember reading this book in college and really enjoying it.  It entertained me and always kept me on my tip of my toes. This is book number 9 in the series. And it follows where it has left off. 

I like to talk about the changes in the series that I for one, like in this book. One change is Eric. I always had a book crush on Eric Knight and it was good see him back in the book. The reader gets a good insight on what Eric has been doing lately. He is now a marker for the school and meets a new gal. And you know what? I like her. She is sweet, funny, and sarcastic. Another change is the twins. Erin and Shaunee. I was surprised to see these two finally separate. Yes, it really did happen!

There is no surprised that Zoey is still dealing with the bad chic (Neferet) and the bad guy still (Kalona). Zoey now has new responsibility and to me it seems like it is going to her head.

Again, this series is the same as the others. Same drama, more boys, more fights and more trouble within the circle.

Now this book I enjoyed. Following where the last book left off, this book dives in a war that has been battled since the beginning of time. A war for souls, salvation, and life.

Now what I loved about this book is we see the main character Megan fall more. Her faith is rattled and this times she make mistakes as all Christians make. Even I, a Christian makes mistakes everyday. I say something wrong, do something wrong, but every time I fall, I rely on God's grace to get me through those times. Megan begins to rely on God and not on herself. Many times we think we can do it all on our own and the truth is, we can't. We need help and God's grace.

The plot line of this book didn't waver in as much action as I wanted it to be but still gave a pretty good read. Megan's brother is captured, now Megan must bargain with evil to find where he is at. I like that Megan is pressed into a hard wall. The story line felt much more realistic as we deal with all kinds of uncertainties everyday. And the best part is, when Megan's faith began to fall, God shows up and did some great miracles.

I really enjoyed this book better than the first book. Megan's characters isn't as perfect (no Christian is) but she uses God's word and held on to the faith. A great Christian read that had an great ending leaving me excited for the next book.

I give it 4 BITES!

 What was your inspiration for writing about Cleopatra?

I have always been fascinated by Egyptian culture and history, with a particular interest in Cleopatra herself.  The woman was an enigma.   But When I first had the idea for Every Last Kiss, I was thinking about historical characters who might change their tragic fates if they could… and Cleopatra popped into my mind right away.   It always makes research more fun if the subject matter is something you are already interested in. 

 Are the characters based on yourself or anyone you know?

Not really.  Hasani has a few characteristics of my husband—he’s tall, witty and pleasantly arrogant.  J  But other than that, no.  The characters are all their own.

 What book was the hardest to write?

Hmm.  That would have to be a toss-up between the first one and the last one.  Every Last Kiss was difficult because I was establishing the characters and the plot.  My Tattered Bonds was difficult because I was saying goodbye to my characters.  I cried when I typed “The End.”

 Are you working on any new projects?

Yes, I am.  Because I wasn’t quite ready yet to let go of all of my Bloodstone Saga characters, I’m working on a spin-off series called The Moonstone Saga.  It follows Hecate’s daughter, Empusa.  The first book, Soul Kissed, will be released soon.  You’ll hear from Em, Hecate and even Hades.  I can’t wait!

 What books do you plan on reading this winter?

I have a TBR stack that you wouldn’t believe… it must be 3 feet tall.  J   I always read my friends’ books, so if one of them releases something new, it will take precedence over anything else.  I’m actually reading an ARC of my friend Fisher Amelie’s upcoming book, Callum and Harper, right now.  LOVE it.  

Other than that, I have so many books that I need to catch up on.  I want to read the Hex Hall series.  Can you believe that I still haven’t read the first book in Richelle Mead’s Bloodlines series?  Yikes.  I’m behind.   I need to catch up on Kiersten White’s Paranormalcy series… I could go on and on.
