Review: Jealousy

Title: Jealousy
Series: Strange Angels # 3
Genre: Young Adult -Fantasy
Author: Lili St. Crow
Publisher: Razor Bill
Release Date: July 29,2010
Book: Bought

"Dru Anderson might finally be safe. She’s at the largest Schola on the continent, and beginning to learn what it means to be svetocha–half vampire, half human, and all deadly. If she survives her training, she will be able to take her place in the Order, holding back the vampires and protecting the oblivious normal people.

But a web of lies and betrayals is still closing around her, just when she thinks she can relax a little. Her mentor Christophe is missing, her almost-boyfriend is acting weird, and the bodyguards she’s been assigned seem to know much more than they should. And then there’s the vampire attacks, the strange nightly visits, and the looks everyone keeps giving her. As if she should know something.

Or as if she’s in danger.

Someone high up in the Order is a traitor. They want Dru dead–but first, they want to know what she remembers of the night her mother died. Dru doesn’t want to remember, but it looks like she might have to–especially since once Christophe returns, he’ll be on trial for his life. The only person who can save him is Dru.

The problem is, once she remembers everything, she may not want to…"

This book picks up right where the last one left off. And my goodness! It was so exciting! I was literally bouncing in my seat reading this book. Everything in it was written perfectly and just so much was in it I am dying to burst.

Dru is finally at the real school and things are not getting any better. With The Order promising her that she is safe, she knows that she is not. Someone is still trying to kill her. Jealousy. Envy. Hatered. Anger. All things things and more surround her, growing in forms that she can not fight all at once.

What are they jealous of ? Love? Power? Dru struggles with all kinds of emotions making me want to a Protzac. I love the fighting scene. Its was so good, I was smiling big. So entertaining. The relationship issues in the book were great as well. I love how Dru knew her feelings and wanted to make them known. I loved her strong character and her willing to fight for those who she loves. And poor girl. She has been through so much, I wish that at some point she can take a break.

Now the ending, Ms. Crow you have left me speehless yet satisfied. This book was everything I wanted and more. OH! And the secrets that spilled out! Priceless!! If you have not read this series you should get to it. The downside, too much cursing. Other than that, I enjoyed it!!! I can't wait to read the next one.

I give it 5 BITES!

 Happy Reading!

Review: Betrayals

"She’s no angel . . .

Poor Dru Anderson. Her parents are long gone, her best friend is a werewolf, and she’s just learned that the blood flowing through her veins isn’t entirely human. (So what else is new?)

Now Dru is stuck at a secret New England School for other teens like her, and there’s a big problem— she’s the only girl in the place. A school full of cute boys wouldn’t be so bad, but Dru’s killer instinct says that one of them wants her dead. And with all eyes on her, discovering a traitor within the Order could mean a lot more than social suicide. . .

Can Dru survive long enough to find out who has betrayed her trust—and maybe even her heart?"

This book pick up right where it left off, throwing you quickly into more action-packed drama. Dru arrives at the school feeling uneasy. She is at a school where she is suppose to be safe. Instead someone is trying to take her life. Things aren't always what they seem.

This book devoured me once again. I read it so fast and love it. All the action, drama and plot was just so juicy! Everything at the school was just the right setting. I love how Dru was just ready to explode. Everything just kept on building and building and finally BAM! So good!

The mysterious Christophe and his secrets were a surprise as well. I enjoyed learning everything I can about him along with Dru. But I also wanted to know more. Like, how old he was? And what were his motives anyway? All these questions and more just were eating me up.

I like the romance vibe that was going on between Graves and Dru. I hope that they can establish a relationship. I was glad to see everything blossom between them. There was a lot of cursing in this book as well. I also wonder what Dru is short for???

I give it 5 BITES!

Happy Reading!
