"Some things are worth waiting for…
Traveling thousands of miles from home to enter college is the only way nineteen-year-old Avery Morgansten can escape what happened at the Halloween party five years ago—an event that forever changed her life. All she needs to do is make it to her classes on time, make sure the bracelet on her left wrist stays in place, not draw any attention to herself, and maybe—please God—make a few friends, because surely that would be a nice change of pace. The one thing she didn’t need and never planned on was capturing the attention of the one guy who could shatter the precarious future she’s building for herself.
Some things are worth experiencing…
Cameron Hamilton is six feet and three inches of swoon-worthy hotness, complete with a pair of striking blue eyes and a remarkable ability to make her want things she believed were irrevocably stolen from her. She knows she needs to stay away from him, but Cam is freaking everywhere, with his charm, his witty banter, and that damn dimple that’s just so… so lickable. Getting involved with him is dangerous, but when ignoring the simmering tension that sparks whenever they are around each other becomes impossible, he brings out a side of her she never knew existed.
Some things should never be kept quiet…
But when Avery starts receiving threatening emails and phone calls forcing her to face a past she wants silenced, she has no other choice but to acknowledge that someone is refusing to allow her to let go of that night when everything changed. When the devastating truth comes out, will she resurface this time with one less scar? And can Cam be there to help her or will he be dragged down with her?
And some things are worth fighting for…"

Diving into Jennifer's writing is really a life experience. I have read most of her books and they have never failed me. Including this one.

What I love most about this story is the great redemption of the character Avery. I love it when  a character is struggling with finding who they after such a tragic event. Avery is drowning. She is being haunted by a past that just won't let her go. I like the her struggle is real. You see the hurt and burden she carries and you want nothing more but to help. The plot of the book gives bits of pieces of what actually happen to Avery, leading the reader on a seek and find game. Once you gather all the pieces it's easy to understand exactly what Avery went through. And if your like me, it made me angry.

The love interest in the book began harsh and well not so friendly. That's okay. I love that Cam is a determined guy who's actions speak louder than words. He never gives up on Avery no matter how hard she pushed him away. And even when she hurt him, Cam is still loyal to her. Their loved bloomed over time, allowing the reader to basked in such amazing friendship.

My only gripe is at times I felt like the story slowed down. Like, you be reading it and it's all going well, then is slows down. Other than that, I really like it.

Wait For You is an sensational story that you will never forget. A story that captures the reader right away, Wait For You is awesome!

I give it 4 BITES!

Happy Reading!

  6. I have heard good things about this one. I hate when characters are very back and forth with the whole love/hate thing and it sounds like Cam at least doesn't do that. That's a major bonus!

  8. I've read JLA Covenant series, which I have a love hate relationship with. But I think this has caught my eye. It sounds interesting, and I've been trying to read more books that aren't in the fantasy/paranormal/sci fi genre. Definitely adding this one to my list.
