The Hawaiian Islands. Known worldwide for their arts and culture. I fell in love with the islands during my first trip in 2004. I visited the islands of Oahu and Kauai during that trip and have returned over the years to some of the other islands, but I have to say, Kauai is my absolute favorite of all the islands.
I have a long list of reasons, but for now I will focus on the one at the top: Waimea Canyon. We all know about Arizona's Grand Canyon, well Waimea Canyon is the Grand Canyon of the Pacific. It's approximately 14 miles and 3,600 feet deep and an incredibly beautiful place.
Waimea Canyon is the place where I thought up the idea of Mishap & Mayhem; you can say it's the place where I first met my characters. It's a place that I think anyone can really tap into and explore their creative side.
Mishap & Mayhem is set in Hawaii, a fantasy adventure that tells the story of twin girls visiting their eccentric grandmother. Books with Bite is kind enough to host a giveaway!
